Piotr Olowski

Olowski

Born on January 25, 1963 in Gdansk, Poland.
Mr. Piotr Ołowski is a lawyer. He graduated from Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdansk. In 1988, he defended his thesis and he achieved his master's degree in aviation law. He also completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Technical University of Szczecin in the valuation of real estate.

His passion for aviation has begun in 1979 when he started to fly as a glider and airplane pilot at Aeroclub of Gdansk. Since 1989 he had been working as a pilot at "LOT Polish Airlines" He has Air Transport Pilot License and over 10 000 hours of total flight time. He has been flying on AN-24, ATR-72, B-737, B-767. He was a captain on B-737 and ATR-72.

He completed specialized courses in Toulouse, France at ATR Training Center and in Seattle, USA at Boeing Commercial Airplane Group.
He has an experience as a Councilor of the City of Pruszcz Gdański (2002-2006) and in government as a Governor of Pomeranian Voivodeship and as a Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2011. He was a member of the Infrastructure Committee on Justice and Human Rights. He also served as a Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Aviation and actively participated in the work of the Subcommittee on the amendment of the Air Law act.

He is married and has two children.
