Director National Military Aeronautical Authority

Commander Adrian CODI is acting as Director of National Military Aeronautical Authority. In this position, he serves as senior uniformed Air Force officer responsible for regulatory, certification, supervision and safety programmes applicable to all military aeronautical stakeholders.
Commander Adrian CODI was born on 16th of July, 1961, in Bucharest. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1983 as a fighter controller. He is an alumnus of National Defense College and Top Graduated of International Weapons Controller Course, USAF.
During his career Commander Adrian CODI served in various positions within Romanian Air Force.
Between 1983 and 1994, he was appointed as fighter controller in a fighter unit.
Between 1994 and 2000 he was assigned as weapons allocator and master controller in the Main Command Post for the Air Force Staff.
From 2000 until 2004 he serves as chief of Training Branch at the Main Air Operational Command.
Between 2004 and 2011 he serves as deputy commander and commander of the Air Operations Centre.
Starting with January 2012 he is the Director of National Military Aeronautical Authority.

Between 2004 and 2011 Commander Adrian CODI was acting as national representative in different NATO committees and working groups related to NATO Air Command and Control System and ATM.
Since 2011 he is the permanent national military senior representative in Military ATM Board and Single Sky Committee.
